December 2023: Warm and wet
Despite a fairly cold start, December will go down in the records as a warm festive month. The average temperature in Tielt is 7.3 degrees compared to 4.2 normally. With 117.61 mm against 87 normally, it was a wet December and it was very gloomy with 15.3 hours of sunshine compared to 58 normally.
