The average maximum temperature was around 15.5 °C, which is slightly above the seasonal average for October in West Flanders. The warmest day was recorded on 2 October (19.3 °C), while the coldest day during the day was 24 October (10.8 °C).
At night, the minima regularly dropped to around 10 °C, with the lowest temperature on 26 October (4.7 °C).
No frost days were recorded, although it often felt fresh in the early morning.Â

On average, the month was slightly changeable: enough sunny periods to soften the autumn feel, but clearly less intense than September.
