🌤️ September 2025 – From late summer warmth to autumn cold in Tielt

The wind played a role especially in the first half, withstormy gusts of up to 54.7 km/h on 3 Septemberand again50 km/h on 15 September.
The second half of the month was much calmer, with predominantly weak to moderate westerly winds.

From the third week onwards, the solar power decreased, which is typical for the season, but there were still several clear days with sufficient radiation.

TheUV indexfollowed the same pattern: at the beginning of the month, values between4 and 5were measured, but from20 Septemberthis dropped to2 to 3, indicating mild late summer sun.
The highest UV value (5) was recorded on2 September.
🌫️ Air quality
The air quality was generallygood to moderatein September.
In the first weeks, the values remained low, but from19 Septemberthere was a clear deterioration, with several days ofpoor air quality.late September — possibly due to a combination of stable weather and air pollution or smoke influences.
The peak value was reached around27–28 September.
🌍 Conclusion
September 2025 in Tielt was acalm transitional monthwith a final summer highlight at the beginning of September, followed by a dry and cooler second half.
The sun was regularly visible, the UV index gradually faded, and the air quality only experienced some poorer moments towards the end.
